Thread: My first strop!

I just received my first strop the other day from Well Shaved Gentleman. It's the Old Timer and it's beautiful. Since I'm a total noob I also ordered the practice strop to...well...practice on. My Dovo should be returned to me in a shave ready state soon and then I can begin my journey properly.

Congrats on your new TM strop make to use the practice strop first as much as you'll be tempted to use the best one! Otherwise there could be tears!

That looks like a beautiful strop. For me, stropping was the hardest thing to learn about this whole straight razor process, so just take it slow at first and focus on the flip. And, if you need any hands-on help, just let me know. Enjoy.

I mounted it on the wall in the bathroom last night. Just waiting for my razor and I'll be in business!
