    There was one like it on the bay about a month ago, along with a concurrently running thread here on SRP wondering what the hell it was. If I remember correctly, that one sold for somewhere around $500.

    Yes they do, get on with the times! I switched from velum to paper over a year ago
    But when you do make sure not to fall victim to the hippie recycling thing, or your letters will be growing in the trash.

    HOLY COW.. I have a chrome version of that thing somewere in my basement !!!! And its in the original box !! I have to find it quick..I'll post pictures of it when I find it, then its going on the bay!!!

    I can't see any reason that you would want one, but it's pretty cool and really old and someone gave it to me for free, still in the original box, minus chromed though and the leather needs to be conditioned but I don't think I'd use one of my good razors on it. But at the price he's asking I would sell mine in a heartbeat.

    I dont even need to look, to know you guys are talking about the mechanical razor strop that looks sorta like a set of bicycle pedals gears. The one a few months ago was a much nicer one. (if I recall correctly)
