    Default Franks Shaving Strop?

    Hi All,
Having had a Franks Shaving finest badger brush for a while and finding it very nice, I noticed that Ian Tang is now producing strops.

If they are of comparable quality to the brushes I'd be interested.
Does anyone have any experience with these strops?
If so, how do they perform?

Well not tried one ( I get mine from here : Leather Hanging Strops )
I have the burgundy 3 " Big Daddy - which is working well . Just ordered the 2 1/2 black latigo and 2 1/2 Big Mama chestnut for back up (can"t beat the prices and the quality , I find stands up ) .

I would say the Franks one for $20 with shipping , may be decent enough to get one started. At least if you nicked it , you wouldn"t feel too bad .

    Cheers,

    Scott

Hmmmm... you know, I don't know. But seeing that no one has any idea I nominate you to purchase one, use it, review it, and tell us about it.

I might just do that when I get a job - I was considering it anyway.
    Thanks Maxi

Default I bit the bullet and ordered one

I have decided to take up Maxi's challenge and have ordered this strop.
Watch this space for more when it arrives.

I am not allowed to buy any more gear for a while, so I will live vicariously through threads like this.
