    Default SRD Modular Paddle Question

Just received my modular paddle system from SRD and have a quick question. Is the rough leather sort of the equivalent to poly-webbing such as that on a combo hanging strop? If not, what should I use in the modular paddle system in lieu of poly-webbing? Thanks.

    Tim

ps: The modular paddle system is very high quality and I really like it so far.

Use the felt pad as the replacement for the webbing and use the brush leather for pastes

You can use either the felt or the scrub leather for your pre-smooth leather stropping. The scrub works well in lieu of the poly webbing or cotton.

    Have fun.

Received my SRD paddle strop last week and appreciate these tips for proper use. So far I love the strop as compared to my hanging one.
