    Default Condition an old strop?

I found an old strop in an antique store today, and I'd like to condition it since it seems a little dry. I have a very little bit of neetsfoot oil, and I also have some mink oil. Which would be better to use? Or should I just put some MWF lather on it?

Neats foot. Of course it would be interesting to see what happens when you put mink oil on it? That would seal thee pores.... I guesss at least it would be water proof.

Both neatsfoot and mink oil will work, but if you use mink oil, make sure that it is 100% mink oil and not the cheap stuff that includes cleansers and other chemicals.

This is true, I suggest the neatsfoot oil.
