Hi! Just used one of your soaps the past week. Great stuff. The shipping was slow and expensive though. you might want to look into other options for that.

I do know that I'm probably an outlier since I live in the EU, not the US.

But the soap and Balm are among the best I've used. Good stuff.

Hello! I'm glad to hear you're enjoy the soap and balm. While I agree with you on the cost and speed of shipping unfortunately there isn't much I can do about it. Given the size of my business, the 'discounted' rates I am given aren't very low (I don't markup shipping). Indeed shipping within the US is cheaper and much faster (1 day local and 2-5 days across the country). If I get picked up by a retailer that has better shipping then this will definitely change. Thanks for the feedback

Shipping to Canada is a problem too. The least expensive shipping option to Canada is more than the cost of the soap. That brings the cost of a single soap shipped to about $38 USD/$48 CAD. Unfortunately that makes it a non starter for me. That is too bad considering the excellent reviews it is receiving.

Bob Iíve got (possibly) good news for you. Two Canadian retailers will soon be receiving shipments from Oleo. This should help lower shipping costs in Canada.

What about shipping to the UK?

There are so many soaps that people rave over on this site that I would love to try, but shipping is a big issue.

By the way I really enjoyed reading your interview. It really made me want to try your soap as you seemed quite pasionate about getting it right.

The UK has pretty strict requirements (and rightly so) for soaps/cosmetics. I am working towards compliance with said requirements in the hopes that a retailer across the pond will pick up our products as well. In the meantime the shipping costs are high and remain outside of my control. If and when that changes an announcement will be made.
