Welcome aboard Mark. I'm sure you'll be able to contribute with your expertise with soaps, creams, brushes and aftershaves. When I went straight I had a very limited knowledge of proper prep.

Can you comment on the scent of the normal vs. blue Floid?

I apologise for the delay in getting back to you. The last week has been a hectic one.

The Blue Floid has a hint of menthol in it when compared to the regular Floid. These are the Italian Floids. At the moment I do not sell the Spanish Floid. Both are quality scents and I have decants of both available on my website right now.

    Hope this helps!

Mark, I am familiar with your name from other forums.
I like your FAQ. Well thought out questions and good responses.
    I'll be around.

Back when I first began wetshaving I heard people going on about this Erasmic cream. I remember thinking at the time that there was no way it would live up to the hype. I'm happy to relate that I was wrong. The Erasmic cream quickly builds a good, rich, and hydrating lather. The scent is fresh and bracing. It reminds me of the old barbershop I used to visit when I was a wee lad. Erasmic comes up in my rotation at least once a week. If you haven't given it a go I wholeheartedly recommend it and at the price you can hardly go wrong. Of late it has been my bestseller. The Erasmic shaving stick is essentially the cream in solid form. The Erasmic shaving soap is completely different. Don't get me wrong it's great stuff too but whereas the cream and the stick smell the same and have the same base the soap uses a glycerin base and has an aroma that reminds me a lot of the original Old English aftershave. That little tub is great for travel too. Most people that order from me are only familiar with the cream and the stick and are often hesitant to purchase the soap. However, once they do decide to take the plunge I've never had a customer say they regretted it.

    Hope that helps!

    Greetings all!

Just posted some updates on Superlather.com. It was especially necessary in light of some "upgrades" that PayPal made to the shopping cart software.

    From my website-

Due to changes made by PayPal to their shopping cart software your shipping and handling charges will not display until you get ready to check out. You have to enter either your zip code or your country of origin if outside the US before it displays your shipping charges. Why PayPal has chosen to do this is beyond me since it was working fine the way it was. Please note that on orders to the US, Canada, and the UK, I typically charge a flat $7.00. If you reside in a country other than those three, please contact me at help@superlather.com for an invoice and please provide a backup email address if at all possible in the event I am unable to reply to the one you've sent me as this has happened before.

I have updated a couple of other pages as well so be sure to visit and hit the refresh button to make sure you have the latest.

I have added a way to order the Floid decants from my website.

I would appreciate it if everyone would include a backup email address in their communications to me from now on. I recently had a customer inquire about Floid decants and I could not respond to his provided email address as it kept being returned to me.

Italian products should ship during the first part of the week!

Thanks everyone for your patience and support!
