    Default New Shapton's @ Straight Razor Designs

    We know have their Complete Line of Glass Stones as well as their Brand New Ceramic On Tempered Glass High Carbon Stones, specifically designed for High Carbon, Straight Razors High Carbon Umm Interesting!!
    Shapton Stones

    We will also have very shortly new Storage Stands from Stephens Working for the Shapton to hold the whole 10 piece complete Shapton Set. Also a 13 slot holder for the Whole deal.

    Default Shapton HC stones

    What's different about these? Are they softer, or do they produce a finer scratch pattern than their higher Rockwell counterparts?

    ...and whatever the difference, why does Shapton only make them up to 8K?

    They are different colors and seem different for sure. Lynn is putting them through the passes and I am getting some technical data for you all.
