Default TGQ - U heard it here first !!!!!!

    Good Afternoon Gentlemen,

    I'm afraid I have some rather sad news;

"Leatherneck".... is now officially a "Limited Edition" scent.......or perhaps "Collector's item" would be more appropriate.

That's right! Leatherneck is a custom scent and consists of 4 different blends of oils........one of the oils, I can no longer get. The company has moved it to a special order item, and minimum quantity to purchase is 25 pounds ......like WTH.

I've ordered this particular missing oil from 8 different companies to sniff test, and my last hope just arrived UPS.........sigh.......and none, not one!..... even comes close to the quality of the other oil, so Gentlemen.......I'm at a loss

I'm not quite sure of the total quantity that I'll have left in terms of soap or shaving cream, or even the Extrait......oh my.....I'll have to do an estimate and will post that later.

    Tis the death of "Leatherneck"

Order placed! This is one of the scents I've been wanting to try, me being a former "Leatherneck" and all ;-) That just means I'll love it all the more. Sorry to hear. Unfortunate this is what it took to finally get me to place a TGQ order. This will be the catalyst for my SSAD kicking in again.

    Hi there you nice woman,

Man, I am really sorry to see this stuff becoming (at least for now) extinct. I can't remember how many times I've ordered the soap, but I'm sure the number is higher than any other shaving soap I use regularly. Yeah, I loved that scent the first time I sniffed it, and it's still part of my small rotation after all these years. Something about that stuff.........hits me juuust right. I also like the Extrait and use it fairly often.

After seeing your very sad post yesterday, I did of course put another small order together and bought a few assorted items. Heh, today I was thinking I'd maybe get a couple more soaps....just in case Leatherneck isn't revived for a while. Sigh......seems like they're all gone.

I hope you can find a way to continue production in the near future. It really is a unique and delightful scent.

Colleen, the obvious solution is to get 2 minimum 25lb orders, so that you can meet the demand over the next week
Oh, and don't forget to triple the price, never underestimate the power of the word 'discontinued'.
Or perhaps you should investigate the possibility to contract for the USMC, then you may wish the orders come in 250lb sizes to save you on unpackaging time.

I personally prefer few others, but I know leatherneck was popular. I hope I have a puck somewhere around for collectors purposes.

Hahaha.........Gugi, you always have a way of making me see the bright side of things. Funny you should mention the USMC, another Gentlemen here suggested I contact the "Citadel" to see if perhaps the school would be interested.......be the best smelling Cadets around aye !

I still have some "Leatherneck" left....but orders were coming in so fast I didn't know what to do, so I pulled it from the website so I could check inventory, and how much scent I had left to mix with the other three....for the whole. I have a total of 4 oz. left of the custom blend.

So I'll be putting the shaving soap, shaving cream, and an EDT version out, and yes.....I'll raise the price, not too much....but enough to help me purchase some very nice "exotic" essential oils, and I'm going to try to do another blend with a hint of leather, but I'm going to call this one "Jaguar" after the 1957 Jaguar Sedan my Dad owned once upon a time. It had leather seats the color of mahogony, and a cherry wood dash. We'll see.....it's gonna take me a couple of months to get this figured out.

In the meantime Gentlemen, as I mentioned earlier......I'm ready to introduce some new scents, and a new "experimental" product that the fine men here at SRP gave me the idea for. And no, I won't be tellin what it is

    I need testers.....please.

So the first TWELVE Gentlemen who will send an email to my business address at

    TheGentlemensQuarter@gmail.com

you'll be the gents to test the new experiment. I'll need comments on everything from how it works, to the best method of delivery in packaging, cuz I don't have a clue. And if nothing else, it'll be fun. I miss testing, and swapping ideas !

The Cost will be $10.00 plus shipping $4.95. You'll receive enough in shaving goods to keep those handsome faces BBS for a month.

I'll look forward to hearing from you. "Please no PM's"........just send me an email at the above address
