Oskar, a question for you. I bought one of your soap lids from Mama Bear Soaps. I LOVE the soap lid, but I think Mama Bear sent me the wrong 'dish' for the soap lid to sit on. It's much bigger than the diameter of the soap lid, and it looks a lot bigger than the ones shown on your website. Is there some way that I can send my dish back to you and exchange it for one that is the proper size? I asked Mama Bear Soaps about doing this, but they couldn't help me. Thanks! --Jeff

Hi Jeff,
normally when someone orders a lid and rest, I pick them so they match. This is because the lids as well as the rests are never quite the same size. Mama Bear ordered her lid rests seperately, when the soap lids were already there. That is why I picked rather large ones for that shipment so as to make sure they cannot be too small (which is worse).
I think the only way to go would be for me to include a matching lid rest in my next shipment to Mama Bear. I'd need measurements for that, though.

I really enjoy using the soap lid, by the way, and I have been writing about it on this website. Not having a dish that matches in size has really been my only complaint about this excellent product. Thanks!

By the way: the soap lid design has changed. The handle is now unglazed so they are less slippery. The rim that used to be unglazed is now glazed. The pictures will appear on the website after the next overhaul.
