Its been a while and me and Lynn have been busy. Lots of New Cool Items.
We are proud to introduce to the US Market Heinrich L. Thäter Shaving Brushes. These are some of the Finest Brushes we have come across. Their Finest Silver Tip is the softest we have felt, while still providing enough backbone for soaps or creams. To top it all off they are a great value.

Many new Toiletries, Iwasaki Kamisori 2- chou gake Japanese Straight Razors, Belgian Stone Wood Storage Boxes, JC Handled Razors, Buffalo Leather for the Modular Paddle, New Livi's and more on the way.
Watch for more coming this month, New News to The Strop Shop, Some Great new Brands on the Toiletries end. All you restorers watch out to we are bringing in products and tools to help you with your restorations.
    WHEW!!
Also check out our new monthly specials we moved our normal 10% to 20% on some of the items for the month, big time savings on some great products.

Hmmmm... Thäter brushes. Best brushes I have come across so far. Excellent!

A huge +1 here, and I had the pleasure of testing out a number of Lynn's brushes during my last visit to his place. For softness on the face and backbone of the bristles, I preferred the Thäter over the other brushes I got to try.

Can anyone tell me how the Thater brushes compare with Shavemacs?

Are they even softer than that Semogue you have? That Semogue hair is the softest I've come across.
Unfortunately, I don't like the handles on any of these Thaters. I wonder if it'd be possible to have someone remove the knot and put it into a new handle.

That I do not know, as I've never had the two in the same place at the same time. But given that the Thater's have so much more backbone, I am going to be replacing my Semogue 730 with a Thater Finest Silver Tip.

That was the reason I sold my Semogue actually. It was way too floppy, I could get my whole face with just one stroke. Maybe I'll have to give one of these Thaters a try, they sound good.
