Guys, there ARE a couple left but I need to work out some bugs with the paypal button so I took it down. I'll get it back up tomorrow.

    Sorry for any inconvenience.

    Best,
    Jim

The button is back up and I am thrilled to be getting one of these razors.

Jim, thank you for the response to my PM and for letting me know there were a few razors left.

Gentlemen, the razors are now limited to Strop Sets. You should know, you've really inspired Naomi-san...he's been utterly overwhelmed by the reaction to these razors.

SO thank you, and I'll get them shipped as soon as I physically can.

    For Your Information:

The company that made these razors is called Suzumasa. They are actually still in business (!!) and making razors, but don't get excited...they're not at all up to their old standards. They no longer have anyone with the skills to grind razors like these...believe me, we asked. Que cera cera...

Also, as to the edge: I was in a hurry, so I did 10 laps on a 1.0micron diamond pasted strop and 5 laps on .5 and the shave was fantastic...so they're close.

Thanks again, and have a great day.

    Best,
    Jim

I got a chance to shave with mine today. Quick progression from 3k -> 8k -> CrO and stropped.

    Great shave.

    Ohio.

I would test it out before you hit any stones. Just based on how it was shaving arm hair, I felt like it needed a bit more work. If I had known Jim had hit it with the diamond strop before he sent it out, I probably would have just tried shaving and stropping first.

As to how many strokes I did.... Dunno and I am sure every one is a bit different.

mine has arrived here in Norway as well.
It was plenty sharp for me, but I still gave it a few strokes on my Escher, just to make it "mine".
the shave it delivered was great!
it was fun shaving with such a small razor
the edge measures about 57mm and is 20mm wide.

That's it, I'm going to camp out on the Post Office's lawn so I can be the first in the door to get mine!!

Just got mine from the mail man not 10 mins ago, seems fairly sharp though the shave will let me know if it's sharp enough or if I should send it out as I have no experiance honing. Too bad I'm dreadfully busy today or I'd try tge shave now. Ah well it will be tonight and as I'm on my way to north Philly I may make a drive to the king of Prussia mall and visit the AOS store there... Wow this could be a very good day for me!
