NOS Razors From Japan

The enthusiastic response to the Historic Kanayama Razors seems to have made Naomi-san realize that people who use strops ALSO use razors.

He has apparently gone to all of his old contacts in the Barber supply business and asked if they had any old stock of razors left...and a few of them did.

Now, there is a big old box of 40+ year-old razors sitting in my den waiting for people to use them.







Most of them are Japanese made, but there are a few Rudolf Schmidt Solingen Inox razors in there as well.




My commission for this sale is one of each, and every single one shaves like you'd expect a top-shelf vintage razor to shave.

The edges are factory edges, not quite shave -ready but bevel well set. I'd say start at around 5K and move up.
