Kanayama Strop Price Adjustment

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Due to a number of factors, it appears that the Japanese Yen will only continue to get stronger against the US Dollar and Euro. We know this makes an already pricey item like the Kanayama strops only more expensive. So we have decided to adjust our prices.

For the time being, until the US$ to Yen exchange rate reaches 85JPY=US$1 (as figured by PayPal--as of June 1st it's 79JPY=US$1), we are taking 10% off the regular price of our strops. If the exchange rate reaches 85JPY to a dollar and stays there for 2 days running, the prices will revert to their old values. The duration of this might be a month, it might be a year, it might be forever.

This is ONLY on the strops.

NOS Razor Sale

However, for the month of June, we are also having a 10% off summer sale on our NOS razors.

In addition, if you purchase both a strop and a razor, you will get another 10% rebate off the total...which really adds up to a lot.

So if you've been considering buying, now is certainly the time.

It appears that due to a miscommunication I screwed up.

This: "In addition, if you purchase both a strop and a razor, you will get another 10% rebate off the total...which really adds up to a lot."

Is incorrect. It should be:

"In addition, if you purchase both a strop and a razor, you will get another 900-1000 JPY off for the combined shipping (based on real shipping value)."

I'm sorry about that.

That's really great Jim and the Yen is very strong for the moment.

Gentlemen, the razor sale is finished as July is here. However, the Strop price adjustment goes on. In fact, the exchange rate has actually dropped to 78 yen to the dollar.

So it goes.
