Default johnmrson's For Sale Thread 8th October

OK, here we go. My first For Sale thread as a Vendor. As you'll see, no Dovo straights in this one. I need to sell some of my other straights so I can pay for the scales I need for the Dovo blades.

All razors in this thread are sold shave ready and have international postage included in the price. Payment is via Paypal. Just send me a PM with your interest.

I tried to load photos under each description but it said I can only load 7 pictures so I loaded them rest as attachments. I apologise if there is any confusion but it's the only way I could get the pictures in the the thread.

You should be able to see more photos here.

    1. Filarmonica Muleta 15/16..........$175
This is a bit of an enigma. The scales are Filarmonica and the blade has the Filarmonica harp emblem on it but the tang is marked HIJO MANUEL GOMEZ, CONSOLACION 3, TORRELAVEGA. The blade also has the name MULETA and a picture of a bullfight on it. There is no rust but the blade does have some staining on it. I didn't want to polish it on the buffer and lose the writing.

    2. Le Grelot Lotus 5/8..........$110
I don't think this razor has ever been used. No sign of it ever having being honed. It is quite a light and almost delicate blade. Very nice, ornate jimps on top of the tang.

    3. John Heiffor, Made For The Army 11/16..........$65
I'm pretty confident that this is a regrind. I've got 3 other Heiffors in my collection and they are all solid wedges. It does have the mystery Heiffor squiggles on the tang though.

    4. ERN Ator. 11/16..........$75
This is the second Ator I've got so I thought that one could go to fund new scales for the Dovo blades. These have a well deserved reputation as great shaving razors. I also love the hump back shape of them.

    5. 42 Severin Paris 9/16..........$55
Great little French wedge. It's half way between 9/16 and 5/8. I picked this up on a recent holiday to Paris (along with quite a few other nice French straights) but as it's very similar to a couple of others I've got, it's looking for a new home.

I forgot to mention that as a Vendor, I'm open to offers on any of the razors I've got listed for sale.
