Beautiful work Glen. Some lucky straight shaver is going to find good looking and great shavers here!

Man, I had to hold off the temptation on that matched set.

Completely off my rocker, but the machinist in me is fighting with the shaver, and demanding I buy that hammer!

Cool VOOGD Razor in Lignum Vitae

This one just went up on the website
The maker is Joseph Fenton & Sons out of Sheffield England ca 1797-1920
This is marked VOOGD and Hollow Ground the steel is almost perfect but there is still a tiny blem left on the face of the blade... It is more visible in the pic than in person but it is there..
The scales are Lignum Vitae with a Teak Oil finish the wedge is a Brass lined Amber, the pins and washers are all new Brass...
The edge was finished to a smooth shave ready condition on my Select Grade Coticule like most Sheffield blades I touch...

If you like Sheffield steel but not the heavy wedge grinds you should really look at this 6/8 roundnose full hollow, there is no visible hone wear on the spine...
