We Have Stopped Selling Kanayama Strops
I had hoped this would happen much later, but it is time. We have stopped selling Kanayama strops.
To preemptively answer the inevitable questions, I have made a post on my site here: We Have Stopped Selling Kanayama Strops. The maker is still in fine health, just to set your mind at ease.
The razors are still available.
On behalf of everyone involved in Kanayama, I want to say thank you to you all for your support, and your custom, as you have collectively been the prime source of income for a lovely family, and your kind words have given them a good deal of happiness.
Thank you.

I wish his family and yours well. Thanks for the short time you helped to make them available.

Jim, I am also saddened by this news. Naomi-San is a true craftsman and master of his trade. I was fortunate enough to have acquired one of his 90,000 strops from a fellow member here at SRP, and it is the most luxurious and finest crafted leather/strop I have ever held in my hands. It's sad that a lifetime dedicated to the mastery of his trade now dims with age!! Wishing you, he, and your families the very best!!!
Kindest Regards,
Howard

Jim,
That's too bad!! Sorry it's turned out that way. I had just discovered Kanayama products, and acquired the 90,000 strop indirectly through you. It's a fabulous piece of leather and I wish, for you, he, and us it could have gone on. Thanks, and hoping a new venue for quality straight razor items opens up for you, and us, in the near future.
Regards,
Howard
