LX the vid and sound were super.I really like the presentation of just click and play.
    I'm sure I won't be the only one...maybe

What is the purpose of the coupe de Maitre?
Obviously a method of hair removal below the nose...anything else to know about it?
    Thanks

Wow, THANKS for that video. It clears up and answers my questions at the same time. Glad you used the 7/8ths, so I shouldn't have any excuses using my smaller blades.

    Thanks again.

Nope, not really. A lot of people tend to have a trouble spot underneath the nose. I never had a problem with it so I figured...I'll just show what I do and maybe it'll help someone.

It may well help me out.
I have a devil of a time at the nostril lip juncture.
I'll be giving this a try...

So I've been shaving with my DE to get the under the lip area because I just wasn't getting the mustache comfortably.

Well, thanks to this video, that's no longer the case. Thanks LX_emergency!

Are you kidding? I tried at least half a dozen methods during my first shave alone.

Other methods: I do very light little scrapes (at maybe 80 degrees) beneath the nose. Works well. Once I get enough room I close the angle to normal (30ish or less).

I'm new to straight. I find a lot of areas tough, but I think the straight is the best way to get beneath the nose. Finally I don't have six or seven lingering whiskers (saying, "na-na-na-na-na," when I do my post shave inspection).

This method (in the vid) looks great if you can do it. Not sure it'd work on my face, though. Maybe my nose is too big.
