    He obviously got good at it thru experience.

    I was just quoting how he strops from his CD which as I said, is with a little slack & about 3lbs of pressure.

    Different to what most folks here believe but it works for me and my edges are not rolled

    Look at the amount of slurry he scrapes up onto the blade when he makes a stroke. when he flips the blade over it's sitting on all that scraped up slurry. When he makes the back stroke/circle he's mainly sliding the blade off of the accumulated slurry. You think there's anything to that?
