    Default Jockeys restores some razors!

    as discussed prior:
    http://www.straightrazorplace.com/fo...o-project.html

I have gotten my hands on some dirty (but promising!) old razors and cleaned two of them up on video.

The first is a Genco Easy Aces, minor rust, not terrible.

The second is a Dubl Duck Satinedge, some fairly horrible tarnish in an interesting tigerstripe pattern.

I use similar tools, but the procedures are different. At one point I was really worried that the tool was going to catch the edge because of the direction of the spin..

Will, good vids as usual. Nice duck! I just got a few new razors myself from an antique shop in Plano. The guy has a bunch of them, they all need work though. Have fun with those!

You have a real steady hand!
I'd worry for the blade though at that speed.
You could minimize your risk if you held the razor upside down for the pass on the back side
and always keep the shoulder of the blade on the right side.
