He did extremely well for his first time. I'm quite impressed actually.

How bout that, a free tracheatomy with every shave! He didn't do too bad but some of those scenes where he appeared to be forcing the razor really made me cringe. My worst cut ever came from forcing a shavette. It had quit moving and instead of picking it up, adjusting it and proceeding, I decided to just put a bit more grunt behind it. Bad decision, really bad cut.

I'd love to find a store like the one he was in, although it would be too easy to go broke in there!

I wonder why those razors n shaving products seem to be more price than they sell in US, the fact that some of these razors are made in germany. I've never been to solingen but I've been to a store in frankfurt, I thought would be much cheaper, I was wrong

I guess that razor would have just been factory sharp as well.

Here's the website for that shop

Some stuff tends to be a little more expensive in europe, i guess with sales tax.

Edit: will tell you exactly why lol that shop is in Bern which is in switzerland. Expensive place, nuff said.

look at it this way, I've seen single malts for sale in france significantly cheaper than in scotland where the stuff is distilled

Yeah, but part of that is that the tax on alcohol is much higher in Scotland than in France or Belgium.

The reason that stuff is generally dollars for euros is that a european reseller needs bigger margins. Stuff is more expensive here than in the US, because the Euro is more expensive than the dollar.
