    Looks like nice work, also you picked a nice piece of horn for the job too. Getting the two colour streaked material is not always easy.

    Nice restore, love me some Henckels

    I've had vintage Henckels razors that came in black wooden scales, never in red though (:

    Thanks guys...I got lucky with the horn scales....but they do look nice don't they. I finally got around to honing this SR and I was amazed at the quality of the edge. Clean edge, even bevel, no micro-nicks of any kind. Quite remarkable. Nice shaver as well.
