It can all be done with CA , Jerry.
The collars Rez speeks of, would be perfect for it.!
Fill the divot, sand it, polish it back up. Good luck finding it afterwards. Make sure to sand the area around the repair before filling it. Makes it easier to blend in before polishing.

One tip that I have heard of was to sand it and keep the sanding dust to mix into the ca to help blend it in better for the divot. Haven’t had horn handles yet to try it for myself.

I sanded the scales down some but not enough to take it out completely. Its less. Didn't fill it. Yet. Also used CA on the crack and in the grove I put on the inside of the crack. Sanded it down and the CA isn't visible so thought I'd try to fill the divot later. Thanks for the input.
I didn't get this one one the stones but I did get it pinned. Although I tried some plastic washers on the inside and now I know I need to remove them and put in brass washers as I cant get it tight enough to stay open. Had to give them a try and now I know. Live and learn.

I've also used the CA trick I mentioned before on horn scales, did the trick.
