    Default Quick question on pinning

I have finally found a source to buy the 1/16" rod that does not charge an arm an a leg to ship it. My question is everyone says to use brass rod and #0 SS washers. Would this not create a two tone look with the copper colour and shiny white that would look funny? can anyone post a pic of what the combo looks like? Or should I just go copper rod and copper washers?

If you live in the states you can get the #0 brass washers from microfastners. It'll still cost a little bit but you'll end up with plenty. If you live outside the US they'll still sell to you but that's when the price jumps up quite a bit. They aren't the only place that sells the washers but you'll have to do a big chung of research to find another vendor (unless you have some mad search skills). Either way good luck.

I very rarely mismatch the color of my pins and washers. If you look through the Custom builds and restorations forum you should come across a few that have the 'two tone' pinned restorations. I guess I'm just a conversationalist and like my restores to look more conventional.
