For the price that's a really nice razor. It should clean up pretty well. Cant wait to see the finished pictures

The cutting edge looks ok....so you should be good to go. Based on the rust, you may have some pitting underneath.
If you want to be sure before you start sanding....set the bevel. Make sure it takes and edge, and then restore. It's a heartache when you sand all the way through, put new scales on it, and it wont take an edge!

Not a bad idea Maxi.. I've yet to start honing, but there a local srp member that can help me out.

I'd say you got a hell of a deal there. The rust should clean up no problem with a little metal polish and a progression of steel wool, from #0 to #0000.
