Default Anyone ever made a Single Edge?

Has anyone here ever made a single edge razor? Not a straight, but something like a GEM 1912 or similar? I've been turning it around in my head all day and wondered if anyone has ever tried something like it. Might be a fun winter's day project. I will have to think on it some more.

I wouldn't think it would be all that difficult, you'd really just be making a blade holder.

What SE blade do you wish to hold?

Getting the exposure and handle angle exactly right may be more
    challenging than you expect.

If it were me I might look at 'holding' the SE blades
that Feather has for their artist open blade razor.
They have three slightly different ones so the edge
is exposed slightly differently and they shave slightly
different (four varieties to be sure but one is different).

One of the sponsors presents the dimensions and
some opinions on how they shave differently.
Google "Feather Artist Club Light Pro ProGuard Super Blades"
or the like if your fav vendor does not have them.

Any time I think I have learned how to hone I pull
out my Artist club and a fresh blade... Humbling
to be sure but I am getting better.
