    Default Flap wheels

I am in the process of making scales and i do not have room for a stand up belt sander. Would a sandpaper flap wheel on my buffer setup work very good? Or should I go with a hand held belt sander chucked up in a vise?

Belt sander. Buut to be honest a cheap small delta table top takes up the same room. You will be happier with it.

Belt sander in a vice. That's how I did it before I purchased my tabletop sander. Works like a charm.

I use a hand held belt sander clamped in my work mate, works great. When I'm done I break it all down and stash it out of the way so it takes up no floor space.

Yeah i think I will go with the hand held sander for the time being. I saw one at a local flea market for $10 the other day. When we finally move I plan on making me a homemade belt sander, but for now sounds like the hand held one will get me by for now. Thanks for the responses.
