The First Cut is the Deepest!
Safety Tip!
Or should I say "Health Tip"
Be sure to wash out the inside of your respirators and spray with a disinfectant. Left sitting, a moist environment like that can become a breeding ground for germs, especially if you have a tiny sniffle today. (which could turn into an upper respiratory tomorrow!)
That is all, now, back to the grind stones!

Good idea!
I give mine a wipe down after every use....there's usually a bit of moisture build-up in there, around the moustachio area.

Just a bit of moisture in this weather? Where do you live? My one is dripping with condensation in no time. It is not just about germs. It is also about all that fine grit abrazives mixed with your sweat grinding your face in the spot where the mask seals against face.

I was trying to be polite, but if you prefer blunt honesty we can always go with
"its good practice to clean out your mask when the river of snot running out your nose forms a mote in the bottom of it"
