I just picked up a Dubl Duck Special No.1 and am looking for restoration places near Chicago. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the info. I will check the classifieds for someone. Its just I am new at this and I am familiar with no one. I have nothing to compare work with. The reason I suggested local was merely convenience and turnaround time.

Turnaround will be limited more by how good they are than how close... guys who are good often have a month or more of work booked. Check the classifieds and the gallery, find something you like, and send some PMs... prices and styles will no doubt vary. Take your time and make sure you get what YOU want, that's the fun part!

I am really having fun with it already. Looking forward to my next shave and reading about all the things I need to learn. This is fun. Thank you for all your help.
