I've used semi-chrome on all types of scales from bakelite, celluloid, bone, g10, wood w/ca finish, etc with no ill effect. Polish with confidence

It might not be the best way, but what I do is apply some metal polish (maas/autosol) on a piece of cloth, place this on my thigh and polish on top of that. The softness of the thigh makes for good contact with the metal polish and the size of the cloth makes for quick work.
I clean off the polished piece with a clean piece of cloth afterwards.
Best of luck.

I basically solely use Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish for every razor...just my preferance. It works on the metal and the scale material as well and have never had a problem with it. just be very careful if you have have gold wash etc. as almost any type of polish will remove those.
