John Watts/Sheffield made/"Gleaner" sans original head cover.
Branded Conrad made Barbasol Floating Head
Unbranded Conrad (BFH type, but not floating head)

This is my best razor ever ! No really !
My favorite DE is my humble STAR Model 100. The honorable mention goes to my Wilkinson Sticky.

My favorite SE is my Oneblade Black Blade.

General V2 by Colonial. I've had mine for almost a year now. It's consistently a very close and smooth shave. I use Kai Captain and Schick Proline 30 blades.

Karve Stainless Open Comb. I haven't had it long but it's the bomb. Excellent design paired with manufacturing excellence. The blade fit and support is top notch. All my other razors are looking on idly:) IMG_20200720_152658 (2).jpg

Technically that would be an SE razor, but who cares? I just got an aluminum Colonial General, and it is wonderful. Gives me one of the closest neck shaves ever.

I dont see the 11 c much but the 15 c is available You could buy the 15c head and get like the 80mm bulldog style handle or as someone else said they got the Razorock Barberpole handle I read about someone else on the same quest as you and they said they got the 15c head and the RR barberpole and love it.... just find a handle you like for the head since the 15c and 11c use the same head....Good luck

Oops! You're right. I completely overlooked that detail. Before the General my favorite DE was/is the short handle Black Beauty Gillette adjustable.

For what ever reason I never had good luck with the DE razors. Nicks weeps and out right cuts almost every time. I had better luck with the throw away razors but I still didn't like them. Even though the straights still nick once in a while I have like them better than the old DE.
