Gentleman, as a homage and tribute to " the norm" I decided to pick up the completion of a Wade & Butcher collegue, a near wedge Manhatten 7/8th+. This time I wish Camel bone for scales. Very difficult material to obtain in NL. But I laid hands on some basics. As you may see, it will be a long long way to Tipperary.
A point of interest for the tinkerers among us the following.
The pivot hole was badly worn. I made a mixture of very hardening two component glue and a generous addition of hard steel filings. And filled the hole up.
A new pivot hole drilled with (I hope) a rock solid wear resistant result, see picture two..
