Feather blades

Hi friends,
Is it me or Feather stainless blades have a coarse edge? Is there a way to strop them? I've tried palm stropping but didn' t seem to help that much. In their webpage I saw sometime ago that they also make carbon steel blades. What do you all think? Greetings

Is there a Doctor in the house ?
Do you mean the DE blades or the shaper blades for the AC? Many years ago I tried to strop the AC with a blade in it and it didn't work. Many people find the DE blades "too sharp" and they are better off with a a lesser blade, or maybe just using the Feathers in a very mild razor. All blades can be slightly blunted by drawing them carefully across some soft wood, making a tiny score in the wood. It's easy to ruin the blade, but it certainly makes it act as if it's been shaved with a time or two.

Hi DrMoss_ ca, thanks for your reply. I mean the double edge blades. The thing is that I am "steel- bearded" so if a blade is not sharp enough, thugs as hell. One of those blades lasts not much more than 2 or 3 shaves to me. Greetings!

I'm not looking at you !
I haven't found a better DE blade than Feather Stainless. Could it be your razor? Does it present the blade at the right angle? I put Feather blades in a Merkur Slant and they are wicked sharp!
