IMHO. Can't do much better than Max Sprecher. Not inexpensive, but he produces excellent custom blades. Tim Zowada has quite a reputation making excellent razors and you can't go wrong with any of his blades.

Yes , he is but that doesn't mean he couldn't make some over there... Maybe... Someday....

I am thinking of trying my hand at making a few razors. I have a shop where I can forge blades a friend has and as long as my hands can handle it Might do a bit of forging.

Well it's gonna be a while till I do any more forging or any hand type work really Yesterday I found out I have a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder and BAD arthritis in the shoulder. Hopefully by Summer I can work on small things like straight razors . I can do most of the forging on power hammers so that should make it easier.
