 Baxter review |

I was sent a couple of shaving products by David Wessell and asked to do a review on them after I had tried them for awhile. The products were made by a company called Baxter of California who I had never really heard of but was eager to give a try. I did a little research and found out the Baxter of California company was founded in the mid 1960’s, by Baxter Finley, who was in search of a quality skincare line for men. At this time men’s skincare products were not as plentiful as they are today. So Baxter, teaming up with a local chemist, created the first skin conditioner for men, Super Shape, an initial step for men’s specified skincare. In 2000 the company was sold to Jean-Pierre Mastey who designed the modern image of Baxter and runs the company today. Baxter of California was recently accredited with Best Shaving Cream from Instinct Magazines, Grooming Awards.
Well ok, so we have a little history but how does it work? The two products that David sent to me are the Super Close Shave Formula and the Baxter After Shave Balm. When I opened the box and took out the product the first thing I noticed was the interesting plastic bottles Baxter has designed for their product. SRP Webcast! |

I would say that the SRP webcast was a resounding success! Everyone had a good time, and I think a lot of information was passed around.
I'll be updating this thread with videos of the webcast as we make them. So without further ado, here's #1.
(It starts at 5 minutes into it.. Someone forgot to hit the record button!). (That person was probably drinking) (That person was probably me!).

It gives me great pleasure to announce that the first SRP webcast will be help on 8/3/08 at 7pm Eastern (11pm UTC).
Lynn will give a honing demonstration, so those of you that might be struggling to find that perfect edge should tune in. He'll be available for specific questions afterwards as well.

The Winners of the raffle for the July 12th Record Breaking Event |

Well last night was quite an event. With all of us signing on to the chat room and discussing various subjects and then when the time came for the raffle to start we killed the server. Our hosts tell us at one point we had 3000+ trying to access the website. What really happened is that Dave spilled beer on the server and he is trying to blame all of us..... We didn't break the record but I think that all that got signed in had a good time. We even had a moment when Lynn dropped in and said HI to everyone. Regardless it was a fun evening and now for the listing of the winners but first I wanted to thank Dave for trying to make this event happen I know he put in a lot of time on this. We had some problems but maybe they can be figured out and have another one of these.
