The newer scents I have tried are dreadful. The last new one I thought tolerable was Quercus. English Fern and Douro are gone, and that is a shame. Their shaving soaps were decent, but like so many good products they are gone too.

I think you're right, but somewhat misleading to describe a razor as stainless but you didn't mean the blade! You have to know that TI have never made a stainless blade.
