I started shaving with a straight razor right around 11 years ago. I learned to shave from SRP and videos like Lynn's on YouTube. I like to think I'm pretty good at using a straight razor now. Some of my other intrests are trail running, reading the classics, hunting/fishing, camping, and canoeing. Oh and whisky and cigars.

I started this Str8 adventure 20 years ago. I bought a number of blades and used your advice on sharpening them and developed my own technique. I now have about twenty-five old blades and a few customs. I learned a lot here and shared a lot here. My question is, are we, the folks that try to keep the old school shaving options alive and well, are we done and just don't know it quite yet?

Looking for scuttle mug for person who,was making these years ago when I was at straight razor place.. could somebody know if that person is still making…would help me

RHensley I bought Dovo postfach 190146 D-42701 Swedish steel hollow ground
I can still return it. I seem to get bumps that raise around the neck and chin. If I dry shave with a new cartridge it scalps them away.
I have tried everything. Should I cut my losses and return the straight?
I think my face is to hard. If I use the straight on my body it works like dream.
