While we enjoy offering the BST ( Swap Shop buy/sell/trade ) thread as a service to our members, we see it as just a small portion of our site's worth. Problems are Very Rare, but you should know that transactions in BST ( Swap Shop buy/sell/trade ) , are ultimately not the responsibility of SRP, but the sellers and buyers -- caveat emptor!
To make it easier I will be referring to the BST ( Swap Shop buy/sell/trade ) Section in this post as simply BST.
Rules For Use .
3. Please place an asking price on the ad, and Please do NOT go back and delete the price. We prefer no' make an offer' posts. However, please understand that the potential buyer has a right to ask for a lower price, or make an offer. At that point it is between the two parties.
4. Please No negotiation in the thread. Please use the private message feature of the website..
5. You can use ANY source of your choice to engage in transfer of funds. Here at SRP we believe that, due to its buyer and seller protections PayPal is the safest method and would recommend that. We also recommend using Goods and Services. Asking for payment via a way that does not incur fees is Not Approved. That means for example an ad cannot say: “$15 via friends and family or $18 via Goods and Services.” However it is YOUR choice to discuss Any payment method in PM's with your potential buyer....
6. What items can you sell ? We ask that they please correlate to the main theme of the forum. Offering to sell alcohol, tobacco, firearms, drug paraphernalia, any illegal substance, pornography, etc is STRICTLY prohibited. In other words keep it relevant to what this site is about. Failure to comply with this rule Can and or Will result in being suspended or banned..
7. Please keep the discussion on topic, and Please refrain from posts about prices being out of line, prices being too high, etc.. This can all occur during private message..
8. When/If your item sells or you wish to close your ad, please notify any of the staff to close your ad. This will be done by moving it to the Previously Sold Stuff Section of the forum... That way other users can go back to look up information..
Failure to comply with the above information can result in you losing access to the BST area, account suspension, or being banned.
By posting an ad, responding to an ad, or engaging in this area of the SRP forum you are agreeing to the above rules in addition to our sites Terms of Usage.
