After fiteen plus years of straight razor shaving, I bled like a stuck pig! I just worked up an 1850's-60's Wade and Butcher wedge. Nice razor. After breadknifing the edge to remove two chips, I went through a sharpening progression that got me close to 'shave ready'. The razor was almost 'ready'.
After making a first pass, I made a second. On the second pass, I ran the blade along my thumb to check the lather to see how many new hairs were present and put a nice new cut on my thumb! Who cuts their thumb straight razor shaving?

Can only show a band-aid now. Sink was a nice blend blood and water. Very nice dark pink-red color!
